The main purpose is to support our Arlington Heights Cowboys Football teams by performing sideline cheers and quarter/half time performances at all home football games and get the crowds excited. The cheerleaders will practice a minimum of 2 hours a week at local fields. They will learn how to stunt, cheer and show enthusiasm to support football players. These practices and games are supervised by parent volunteers and high school coaches. The football cheer teams will be provided with sidelines cheers and dance and half time routines throughout the season. They will also participate in other events such as the 4th of July and Memorial Day parade, Homecoming weekend, End of Season Banquet and Fundraising Activities, as well as at community service events.
Registration includes: Cheer Shirt and Bow, Practice Space, Football Field Fees, Coaching, Insurance, Awards and Administrative Fees.
A uniform and cheer shoes are not included in the cost and must be purchased in addition to the cost of the program. If you have a 2021 Uniform, you do not need to purchase a new uniform for 2022 unless your uniform does not fit. We do not have uniforms to swap, so please communicate with other team members for swapping possibilities.
