Arlington Cowboy Cheer is a sideline cheerleading program offered to the children in the community. We look forward to building a great cheer program that will continue and grow through the years. Everyone’s help and ideas are welcome.
We want to make this a fun time for the children, as well as a learning experience. We will teach the girls cheers, dances and stunts. Arlington Cowboy Cheer is for children in grades 1-8. Our primary focus is teaching the fundamentals of cheerleading, sideline cheers, halftime routines and safety with stunts in preparation for junior high and high school cheer.
If you register after June 1st there is a late registration fee of $30

REFUND POLICY: 50% less $20.00 processing fee through August 3. NO REFUNDS (no exceptions) after August 3.
All of our coaches are High School Cheerleaders, Poms or Orchesis members. All of our coaches are excited and qualified to be teaching your daughters.
Cheer practice officially begins July 30 at our indoor facility Play Ball (Mt. Prospect) 6:30-8:00 pm Monday and Wednesday's. Starting August 27th, practices will be Monday's only at Play Ball from 6:30-8:00 pm until late October/early November.
Games will be on Saturdays or Sundays beginning late August and run thru late October/early November (depending on playoff schedules). Home tackle games will be held at Sunset Meadows or Pioneer Park. All flag games (these are for our 1st grade squad) are held at Pioneer Park. The Arlington Cowboy football program is a member for the BGYFL.
There is a Cheer Clinic June 25-27 for sideline cheer from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Players U in Mount Prospect. The children will have a great time learning dances and cheers that we perform at games all season. The children will also get first hand training in stunts. This is very important for all newcomers. Treats are given out each night.
The children will walk in the Arlington Heights 4th of July parade. This is a fun time for all. We toss out candy and cheer our hearts out!
Along with the regular cheer season we have many exciting things for team bonding.

This year we would like to get corporate sponsors and donations. If any parents know of any companies that would like to sponsor us please let me know. Fundraising will be a big part of our program to help it keep running.
Since we are a 100% Volunteer run group, we also need to enlist in the help of our parents. Each team must have at least one Cheer parent (Team Admin), 2 per squad is ideal. You will work directly with the Directors and your squad. You will help run the games, be a leader and support role for the children. We are looking for POSITIVE & OPEN MINDED mothers and fathers to help fill these positions. Please let us know if you would like an official role in the club. It is a very fun and rewarding time for all!
We have several other positions that we need volunteers for: Team Admin, Cheer Admin, 4th of July Committee, Homecoming, Picture Day Committee, Banquet Committee, Spiritwear Committee, Fundraising Committee
